Childrens Mental Health Week – 3rd-9th February 2025 – our assemblies have focused on supporting our well-being which the school takes very seriously. The theme this is year is ‘Growing together” and the importance of emotional health alongside growing physically. The ‘Place2be’ charity put all the resources together and the assemblies included messages from TV personalities and other celebrities.

Our school uses Stormbreak to help provide movement breaks which promote good mental health. The aim is to improve children’s mental health through movement, equipping them with sustainable, transferable skills and coping strategies to thrive during the complex demands of growth into adult life. During school time, School nurses visit to carry out a number of health checks at different times during a child’s time at school. They also hold periodic drop-in sessions, which we will advise you about.
