School lunches are supplied by Local Food Links, an award-winning Dorset based social enterprise that has been making nutritious school meals since 2006. Meals for pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are free and some pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 may be entitled to means tested free school meals*.
Meals must be ordered 7 days in advance. If your child has allergies or special dietary requirements please contact barry.dovell@localfoodlinks.org.uk and/or complete a form obtained from the school office.
A copy of the ordering guide for parents can be found below, together with the latest menu.
The link to the login page for ordering meals can be found HERE and for a link to their FAQs
* to find out if your child is eligible for means tested Free School Meals, use the tool on the Dorset Council website, found HERE. Use this link to the free school meals form if you receive a qualifying benefit. Even if your child gets free school meals for being in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, you still need to apply so that school can receive the additional Pupil Premium funding. Pupil Premium funding is extra money given to the school to support more disadvantaged pupils of all abilities. This funding may be used to support the eligible child, for example, in school or with the costs of uniforms, trips or extra-curricular activities.
If you are unsure about this, please speak to Mrs Symes or Mrs Waite, in confidence, in the school office.
