Wearing school uniform promotes equality and the positive image of the school which helps build pupils’ self-esteem. Parents are expected to send their children to school in uniform. Please ensure that all items of clothing and footwear are clearly marked with your child’s name.

We have a small supply of sweatshirts, cardigans, fleeces, reversible coats, lightweight jackets, sun hats, reading bags and backpacks in the school office. Please ask for available sizes and prices. Alternatively, parents can purchase the following items online via the link:

sweatshirts, cardigans and all outerwear –https://www.schooltrends.co.uk/uniform/BroadwindsorCEVCPrimarySchoolDT83QL

Uniform orders will be delivered direct to your home with a small P&P charge. All items of uniform have the school logo embroidered on the front.

We also have a well supported second-hand uniform rail just inside the main entrance door. We simply ask for a small donation – suggested 50p per item.

New plain jumpers, sweatshirts and cardigans from any retailer, which match the school green colour, can also be worn worn.

Trainers should be worn for PE only and solid shoes worn during the winter months. Summer sandals should have an enclosed front and socks should be worn for added protection. Children will need a warm coat during the winter months.

Every child will need a small PE bag which should contain plimsolls or trainers, dark coloured shorts and a white t-shirt. For colder months, a pair of joggers is a good idea to keep warm if outside for PE. Football boots and shin pads may be required in Year 3 and above. All items must be labelled and kit must be in school at the beginning of everyschool week. *

Children will also need an old shirt / t-shirt for art work and although we can usually provide groups with these items, if you have any spare please let us know.

* from September 2021, children will be asked to come to school in their PE kit on their PE days. Teachers will let children and parents know which days are PE days at the beginning of term in their class newsletters.
