Mary Anning Class is our class for Reception children. Their teacher is Mrs Lydia Knowles.
Autumn 2nd half 2022
The children in Mary Anning class have been thinking about Celebrations from around the world including: Guy Fawkes, Remembrance Day, Diwali, Hanukkah and Christmas. We have been thinking about and recognising that people have different beliefs and celebrate special times in different ways. As well as spotting some similarities and differences between celebrations.
We have also enjoyed spending time outside exploring the changing seasons and spotting the signs of Autumn. In Literacy we have been developing out writing skills and thinking about what a good sentence looks like. While in maths we have been thinking about position, representing and ordering numbers and time.
