Dorset Council's Family Information Service

is a free, impartial information service for parents and carers of children and young people aged up to 19, or up to 25 years for those with special educational needs or disability (SEND), including:

  • information on schools, childcare, activities and help for your family
  • a directory of services for families
  • what's available for children and young people with SEND (Local Offer)
  • e-newsletters and social media updates

The Children's Centres are part of the Family Partnership Zones (FPZs). The FPZs are part of the whole family offer for early help.
